No. 02 / Cookies
Cookie Policy
Last updated · 20 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, and web beacons — throughout this policy, the term "cookies" refers to all such technologies.
2. Legal Framework
Our use of cookies complies with:
- ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC (as amended by 2009/136/EC) — requires consent for non-essential cookies
- GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — governs how we process personal data collected via cookies
- CJEU ruling in Planet49 (C-673/17, October 2019) — clarifies that consent must be active, specific, informed, and unambiguous
3. Categories of Cookies
Strictly Necessary — No Consent Required
These cookies are essential for the website to function. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, they are exempt from the consent requirement.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
ws_session | Session management | Session |
ws_inquiry_ref | Local waitlist reference number | Local storage |
ws_preferences | Watch / colourway preferences | Local storage |
Wrist Society also uses browser localStorage to persist your waitlist inquiry locally, ensuring no data is lost if a network request fails. This data stays on your device and is sent to us only when you submit the form.
Analytics — Currently Not Used
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, or any analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, a cookie consent banner will appear and you will be able to accept or reject analytics cookies separately.
Marketing & Advertising — Currently Not Used
We do not currently use Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, or any marketing cookies. The same consent mechanism described above will apply if these are added.
Social Media — Currently Not Used
We do not embed social media widgets that set tracking cookies on our pages. The Instagram link in our footer is a plain hyperlink and sets no cookies until you click it.
4. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to view, manage, delete, and block cookies:
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for any future non-essential cookies or data sales (note: we do not sell data).
5. Third-Party Cookies
No third parties currently place cookies on our website. Links to external websites (e.g., Instagram) are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

No. 03 / Terms
Terms of Use
Last updated · 20 May 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Wrist Society website. By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Pre-Launch Stage
The Wrist Society website is currently operating in a pre-launch stage. The first run is sold out. The website serves the following purposes only:
- To present product concepts and design previews
- To collect expressions of interest via a waitlist
- To inform interested individuals when the next batch becomes available
The website is not currently a point of sale. No transactions can be concluded here. Prices shown (such as €59 or €69) are informational only and do not constitute a legally binding offer (invitatio ad offerendum — "invitation to treat").
2. Waitlist Registration
By submitting your details on the waitlist form, you express non-binding interest. Joining the waitlist does not create a contract, reserve any product, or guarantee availability, price, or specification.
For full details, see the Waitlist Information document.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the website — text, images, designs, photographs, the "Wrist Society" name, and the octagonal mark — is owned by the operator or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may view the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or republish content without written permission. You may not use the "Wrist Society" name or octagonal mark without written permission.
Third-Party Trademarks
The website references third-party watch brands and product names ("Royal Pop", "Audemars Piguet", "Swatch", and similar) solely for purposes of identifying compatibility of our straps with such watches. This use is descriptive and nominative.
Wrist Society is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Audemars Piguet SA, The Swatch Group Ltd, or any other watch manufacturer. All third-party trademarks remain the exclusive property of their respective owners.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the website unlawfully or for unlawful purposes
- Attempt unauthorized access to the website's systems or data
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data
- Submit false, misleading, or harmful information through any form
- Use the website to harm, harass, or impersonate any person
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious code
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, except for warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We disclaim warranties that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure; that information is accurate or current; or that any product described will be made available at any specific time, price, or specification.
This does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights granted by law.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the website.
Mandatory consumer rights are not affected. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. For consumers located in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or the UK, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of habitual residence continue to apply where they offer stronger protections.
The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Note: this applies to formal commercial contracts; the waitlist does not constitute such a contract.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

No. 04 / Waitlist
Waitlist Information
Last updated · 20 May 2026
This document clarifies the legal nature of joining the Wrist Society waitlist. Please read it carefully before submitting your details.
1. What the Waitlist Is
The Wrist Society waitlist is a system for collecting expressions of interest from individuals who would like to be notified when the next batch of our product becomes available.
By submitting the waitlist form, you are telling us:
"I am interested in this product. I would like to receive a notification when the next batch is available."
That is the entire commitment — yours and ours. Nothing more.
2. What the Waitlist Is NOT
Joining the waitlist is not:
- A purchase
- A pre-order
- A reservation
- A contract
- A binding offer to buy or sell
- A guarantee of product availability
- A guarantee of a specific price
- A guarantee of any particular product specification (colourway, material, size)
- A payment commitment
No money will be charged. No payment information will be requested at this stage.
3. Prices Shown on the Website
Any price displayed on the website (such as "€59" or "€69") is indicative only. It reflects our current intention but is not a binding offer under contract law.
Under European Union contract law principles and Ukrainian Civil Code Art. 641, the display of goods on a website with a price constitutes an invitatio ad offerendum ("invitation to treat"), not a binding offer. The actual binding offer would be made by you at a future checkout — which does not yet exist on this website.
Prices, product specifications, launch timing, and availability may change at any time without notice.
4. If the Product Launches
If and when our next batch becomes available for purchase:
- We will send you a single notification email
- That email will direct you to a separate purchase process
- At that point, you may choose to place a real order
- Only by completing checkout will a contract of sale be formed
- At that future stage, all applicable consumer protection rights (including the EU 14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU, where applicable) will apply
You are not automatically converted from waitlist subscriber to customer. Each step is optional and explicit.
5. If the Product Does NOT Launch
Product development is uncertain. We may choose not to launch the next batch, may delay it indefinitely, or may significantly change the product. You will not be entitled to any product, refund, or compensation — because no payment was made.
If we decide not to continue, we will delete waitlist data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Your Right to Leave
You may unsubscribe from the waitlist and request deletion of your data at any time, without any reason, by:
- Clicking "unsubscribe" in any email we send, or
- Emailing hello@wristsociety.com with the subject "Delete my data"
We will process your request promptly and confirm deletion.
7. Communications You May Receive
By joining the waitlist, you consent to receive:
- Launch notification — when (and if) the next batch becomes available
- Occasional updates — information about progress, design, materials, or timing
- Waitlist administration — confirmation of signup, confirmation of unsubscribe
You will not receive: general marketing newsletters unrelated to your interest, promotional emails from third parties, sales calls, or text messages.
Expected frequency: approximately 1–4 emails total before launch, then occasional updates if you remain subscribed.
8. Independence Disclaimer
Wrist Society is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Audemars Piguet SA, The Swatch Group Ltd, or any other watch brand or manufacturer. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Where we reference compatibility with specific watches, such references are descriptive (nominative fair use) only.
